Refund Policy

1. Cancellation Before Dispatch

You may request to cancel your order before it has been dispatched. To cancel, please contact us at support@suvayam.com with your order details. If the order has not yet been handed over to the logistics partner, we will process a full refund.

2. No Cancellation After Dispatch

⚠️ Once your order has been dispatched and a shipment ID / tracking number has been generated, the order cannot be cancelled. This is because the product has already been handed over to the third-party logistics provider and is in transit.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are applicable only in the following cases:

  • Damaged Product: If the product is received in a damaged or broken condition due to mishandling during transit.
  • Wrong Product: If you receive a product different from what you ordered.
  • Missing Items: If items are missing from your order.
  • Quality Issues: If the product has a quality defect that makes it unfit for consumption (e.g., stale, foul smell, foreign particles).

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at support@suvayam.com within 48 hours of receiving the product, with the following details:

  • Your order ID / reference number
  • Clear photos of the damaged/wrong product and packaging
  • A brief description of the issue

Refund requests received after 48 hours of delivery may not be entertained. We will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days.

5. Refund Process

  • Once your refund request is approved, the refund will be initiated within 5–7 business days.
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method (bank account, UPI, etc.).
  • The actual credit to your account may take an additional 3–5 business days depending on your bank.

6. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Change of mind or "no longer needed" after dispatch
  • Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer, leading to non-delivery or return
  • Product opened and consumed (partial or full) without any genuine quality issue
  • Natural variations in product appearance, size, or texture (these are handcrafted products and minor variations are normal)
  • Delayed delivery due to reasons beyond our control (weather, strikes, logistics disruptions)

7. Returns

Due to the perishable nature of food products, we generally do not accept returns. In cases where a return is deemed necessary (e.g., wrong product shipped), we will arrange for a pickup or provide instructions for the return. The return shipping cost will be borne by Suvayam Food Pvt Ltd in cases where the issue is on our end.

8. Replacement

Where a refund is applicable, we may offer a replacement product instead, subject to availability and your preference. Replacements will be shipped at no additional cost to you.
